Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information RevTek (“RevTek”, “we”, “us”) collects through the RevTek add-in for Autodesk Revit, the RevTek plugin for Tekla Structures, the RevTek web dashboard and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. RevTek is a business product: our customers are companies, and the people who use it do so for their employer.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, work email address, organization, role and, if you provide them, your position, Tekla user name and profile picture. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form.

Project data. The structural model data your organization synchronizes: projects, steel members and their properties, design change requests, review decisions and comments, and the model snapshots (IFC files) attached to change requests.

Operational logs. To run and support the software, the plugins record what they do: plugin and host application versions, the operations performed, the identifiers of the elements and change requests involved, timings and errors. Logs are linked to your account and organization.

Website requests. When you book a demo we receive the name, email, company, role and message you enter. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

How we use it

We use this information to provide the service your organization signed up for: signing you in, sharing project data with the people your organization authorizes, applying design changes, keeping an audit trail, sending account emails (such as confirmation, sign-in and password-reset codes and invitations), providing support, keeping the service secure, and improving the software. We use demo requests only to reply to you.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Project data is visible only to members of your organization and of partner organizations that your organization invites into a shared project, according to the access your administrators assign. RevTek staff access customer data only to operate and support the service.

We rely on these service providers, which process data on our behalf:

  • Supabase: database and authentication, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the US East (Ohio) region
  • Amazon Web Services: storage of model snapshots and sending of account emails, US East (Ohio)
  • Vercel: hosting of this website and the web dashboard

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

RevTek data is stored in the United States. Connections to RevTek services are encrypted in transit, access is limited by organization, project and role, and administrative access is restricted to authorized staff.

How long we keep it

We keep account and project data for as long as your organization uses RevTek, and change-request history for the life of the project, because the audit trail is part of the service. When your organization stops using RevTek, its administrators can ask us to delete its data. Operational logs are kept for as long as they are needed to support and secure the service.

Cookies

The web dashboard uses cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the dashboard. To access, correct or delete your personal information, contact your organization’s RevTek administrator or write to us at amansour@dtigroup.co. Because RevTek is provided to organizations, some requests are handled together with your employer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
